WWOOF - - Willing Worker On an Organic
Farm
|
|
We offer wwoof places to volunteers
who would like to come here to help inexchange for food and lodging.
We do not guarantee that they will learn anything other than
the meaning of hard work. If you want to learn something specific
then you will have to come as a paying guest or attend a course.
It is a world wide organization that helps interested volunteers find
placing's on suitable farms. Exactly what WWOOFing might entail will depend on
where and when you go.

- WWOOF International
A service dedicated to helping those who would like to work as volunteers
on organic farms internationally. The aims of WWOOF are to ... enable people to
learn first-hand about organic growing techniques to enable town-dwellers to
experience living and working on a farm to help farmers make organic production
a viable alternative to improve communications within the organic movement.
WWOOF organisations compile a list of organic Host farms that (from time to
time) welcome volunteer help. When you join a WWOOF organisation, you will be
put in contact with these Host farms. It is then up to you to contact the Host
farms that interest you and make your own arrangements with them. Contacting
Hosts in a foreign country takes time and effort, and the cost of stamps,
International Reply Coupons and telephone calls is not negligible. WWOOF
INTERNATIONAL is committed to providing up-to-date information about WWOOF hosts
world-wide
