We collect a small amount of Wast oil from local restaurants and process it into Diesel fuel. The process involves settling, reacting with methanol, separating, washing and further filtering. It works but it's messy and not that easy.

Wood Gas, also know as "produce gas" was a common technology during WW2 when other forms of fuel were in short supply. Many towns also had their own "Gas Works" wher the same type of reaction was used to produce "Town Gas" from coal.

We have not yet manage to get this to work but someday we will.
